Reiki
Reiki is a form of energy healing that originated in Japan in the early 20th century. It involves the transfer of universal life force energy from the practitioner’s hands to the patient’s body, with the aim of promoting relaxation, stress reduction, symptom relief and well-being. Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive.
